While working at Run It Up, as well as in a freelance capacity, I created punchy highlight videos by turning live stream footage into short, snappy, and often humorous clips. These videos boosted social media engagement and hyped up upcoming content. Given raw clips and a basic concept for each project, I handled the editing, visual effects, motion graphics, and stylistic approach for each video.
Battle of the Blinds
This video was created for Nathan Manuel, a creator in the poker community, highlighting a hand he played during his time on the show "Poker After Dark". Nathan suggested a cartoon or comic book theme showing the back and forth between himself and the other player, and I landed on an old-school halftone look, combined with elements of the 1960s Batman TV show.
